Bright summer morning / fresh biscotti disappears / dog fakes innocence.
Around a quilt frame / stitches of thread and laughter / It's the tradition.
Around a quilt frame / friendships binding heart to hand / one stitch at a time.
i peer at the sky / through a small hole in the leaf. / Leaf and sky donʻt mind.
Itʻs a good day, thanks! / No spiders lurk in my shoes. / No truant sunrise.
Iʻm here to listen, / to surrender to the murmurs / suffusing these hills.
This soft morning light / traveled so far and so fast / to dawn upon me.
First thing this morning / caw-toons from the other side / fussing, crow cussing
You danced in stardust / four hundred light years away, / Lovely Pleiades.
Between potted plants, / one brown cricket on her side. / Her good times are gone.
Six billion people, / each moment venting their minds. / Well that explains it.
Twilight leans heavy / even the shrubs are slumping, / sheltering the weeds.
Silver cherry bark / withdraws from the winter chill / curling up cozy.
Hurtling through space, / downing tequila slammers / toasting gravity.
Thereʻs no benefit / to the speculation of / black specks in sugar.
Hot chillie peanuts / joyfully written haiku / paradise leans in.
From this one small spot / witness the entire expanse / the fourth dimension.
Wisdom dakinis / fill space like an outpouring of / sesame seeds.
This plain winter day / contemplating the roundness / and greenness of peas.
Dreary monologues / and fictional dialogues / enough already.
As buddha-buddy / while you walk this noble path, / your egoʻs a dolt.
Delighting the eyes / Andra Pradesh woolen socks / seducing the feet.
This wintery day / yearning for the warmth of skin / the bliss of sunkissed.
The endless parade / all along the bamboo groves / ants, ants and more ants.
